Boudoir in Hotel Napoleon Paris

As a Wedding Photographer, I believe that it is important to be doing styled shoots. First of all, it shows off what you can do as a team of creatives when time and artistic freedom are not an issue. It helps our future bride to see what she can expect when selecting one or more vendors showcased in the styled shoot, especially while planning a Destination Wedding where dropping by the studio of the vendor is not always an option. And finally it allows us just to have fun and create together!

It all started when we met Eline, who at the time was working at the luxury Hotel Napoleon in Paris. Eline suggested that it would be a lovely idea to show how beautiful this hotel is. We were excited to shoot in such a stunning location in the heart of Paris!

We knew right away that we would like to do "morning of the bride" boudoir shoot and our friend Celine, who happens to be a model, was perfect for it. For hair and make up we reached out to Rika Bitton, who is often working with us making our brides and couples in love look stunning for their portraits. Rika has experience not only in Bridal Hair and Make-Up but she has also worked in fashion and commercial photography and television. This particular experience of doing make-up for video comes in very handy as Federico was shooting a behind the scenes videography of this shoot.

For Wedding dresses we wanted to showcase two different options - a traditional long gown as well as more modern short wedding dress. Jay Ahr and Bonheur designer dresses were provided by the lovely team of C'est Ma Robe. C'est Ma Robe is a luxury dress and accessories rental company in Paris. They have a big variety of famous designer brands to offer for any occasion. Especially perfect for finding just the right dress for an Elopement or Vows Renewal ceremony!

We finished the bridal look with a Flower Diadem and Bridal Bouquet lovingly prepared for us by the artisan florist Fleurs d'Auteuil. The jewelry we used in styling of these photos are actually my own family heirlooms with the exception of two gorgeous amethyst and smoky quartz silver rings from Aloha Gaia

We are truly thankful to the whole team who made this shoot possible and are very excited to share it with you! Enjoy ;)
