When I first saw the landscapes of Île d'Yeu I thought I got somehow transported into Greece! This island in Pay de la Loire region of France just off the coast in the Atlantic ocean is tiny, friendly and absolutely beautiful. Everyone here moves on bicycles, everyone knows each other, all the houses are painted white with the cutest pastel colored windows. The easiest way to get here is taking a ferry boat from Fromentine or Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. I came here from Paris together with Sasha Lebed, my usual and brilliant hair and make up artist. For the video I paired up with Ethéo production, which was the first time for us working together, but it was so effortless that it felt like we've done it before. Jérôme doesn't speak English, so we communicated in French - just perfect for this bilingual French-American destination wedding! Well, it's only half destination I guess, since it's the home of the groom.
