Sunrises in Paris are the perfect time to capture the beautiful views of the city in the first soft morning light and without the crowds of tourists in the background. This spring couple session is one of my favorite from last season! not only did these two love birds look absolutely stunning, but I also got to photograph the amazing hair and make up work of Harold James, who prepared Kathy for the shoot :) You can also follow Harold's adventures on instagram HERE.
Now for the Paris photographer couple session planning. We started the shoot at Trocadero for the best view of the Eiffel Tower at sunrise. We then walked a short distance to Avenue de Camoëns, which is a little hidden spot with another angle of the Eiffel Tower view, followed by another short walk to the bridge Bir Hakeim well known from the movie Inception. This route can be managed in 1 hour of shooting!
Afterwards we took an Uber car to our second location - Alexandre III bridge, which is (to me) the most beautiful bridge in Paris. During the spring and summer months when the sunrise is super early it's possible to catch this bridge absolutely empty for your portraits in Paris. Just a walking distance away from this location is Musee du Louvre, which creates a stunning backdrop for photos. We are explored the empty courtyard of the Louvre before heading over to one of the nearby cafes for a much deserved cup of coffee and croissant - parisian classic! This second part of the shoot also took us an hour. So as you can see we can cover a lot of locations in just a 2 hour photosession.
I'm so in love with how Kathy & Alex's portraits came out! Hope you enjoy them too ;)
