PARIS IN WINTER TIP - VISIT L'ODYSSÉE LUMINEUSE AT PARC FLORAL IN VINCENNES

Last year, my family and I visited L'Odyssée Lumineuse au Parc Floral in Vincennes, an illuminating event perfect for the Christmas season. This annual festival transforms the Parc Floral de Paris into a stunning display of lights, making it an excellent activity for families.

This year we've come back and it didn't disappoint either! 

To get there, you should take Metro line 1 to Château de Vincennes, which is a short walk from the park. The event typically runs from November 19th to January 11th this year (2025) from 5:30pm to 10pm (closed on Mondays between November 30 and December 20th, open all the days between December 21 and January 6th, then closed on Mondays and Tuesdays between January 7th and 19th). Tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance. This year they've added extra tarif (a bit higher) for not dated ticket and there usual date prices are:

Adult : 13 €, Child (3-12ans) : 11 €, Student : 10 €. Free for children under 3 years old.

Upon entering the park, you'll find a variety of beautiful light installations spread throughout the grounds, creating a festive atmosphere. Each area offers unique displays, from twinkling trees to themed decorations that captivate both children and adults. It’s also a great opportunity to capture stunning photographs.

This year they've added the flying drones show (3 times per night) and also soap balloon performance - my kids loved that one!
