This was my first proper individual portrait photoshoot for a ballerina in Paris! I always wanted to work with a dancer to create some stunning images showcasing the shapes of the body and costume movement. So when Maria approached me to ask for these photos I immediately thought that the Louvre Museum courtyard would be the perfect location for these images. And we are both so happy with the result! This must be my favorite shoot from this fall season - the light was just right in the afternoon, just enough wind to make the dress move, and not too cold for posing in this dress.
